The Firm provides specialized expertise in the areas of marital and family law. The Firm aggressively represents clients to help them resolve personal and financial matters associated with dissolution of marriages, paternity claims, and adoption. Services include negotiating and drafting marital agreements to resolve such issues as child custody and visitation; child support; temporary, permanent, rehabilitative and lump sum alimony; equitable distribution of assets and liabilities; and when appropriate, attorneys’ fees. The Firm also represents clients in support enforcement and modification proceedings.
In addition, the Firm assists clients who seek protection from potential future disputes by negotiating and drafting pre-nuptial agreements and estate plans. When necessary, and particularly with contested or complex matters, the Firm will actively pursue the discovery to identify and value all assets of the marital estate to insure its clients receive their rightful entitlement under the law.

Kenneth A. Gordon received his Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising from Florida State University in 1983 and his Juris Doctor degree cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law in 1997. While in law school, he was the founding President of the University of Miami Family Law Society and Co-Chair of the Law School Liaison Committee of the Family Law Section of The Florida Bar. Additionally, he was the recipient of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers Scholarship in 1997 and was awarded the Dean's Certificate for Litigation Skills. Mr. Gordon is Board Certified in Marital and Family Law by the Florida Bar and concentrates his practice in the areas of marital and family law with special emphasis in dissolution of marriage, alimony, child custody and visitation, equitable distribution, adoption and other family law matters. Mr. Gordon is admitted to practice before all state courts in Florida. He is a member of the First American Family Law Inns of Court, Barrister, and the Family Law Section of The Florida Bar. Mr. Gordon is on the Continuing Legal Education Committee of the Florida Bar. He has published various articles on family law issues such as “Working with the Vocational Expert,†published in the Family Advocate, and he has lectured on a variety of topics. Mr. Gordon teaches the Substantive Family Law portion of the Certification Seminar for family law mediators.
