The Firm's real estate attorneys represent clients in all matters relating to the purchase, sale, financing, development, lease, and other use of commercial and residential real property. Our services include negotiation and preparation of lease agreements and purchase/sale contracts; representation of lenders and borrowers regarding loans secured by real property; commercial and residential closings; land use, zoning and permitting; real estate development; title examination and insurance; and appeals of real property tax assessments. Counsel from attorneys in the Firm's other practice disciplines is available when necessary to insulate clients from potential or anticipated exposure arising out of real estate transactions.

Philip J. Morgan (philip.morgan@brinkleymorgan.com) received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, in 1971 and his Juris Doctor degree with Honors from the University of Florida College of Law in 1973, where he was also a member of the University of Florida Law Review. Mr. Morgan is Board Certified as a Specialist in Real Estate Law by The Florida Bar. He practices primarily in the areas of real property, business, finance and mortgage law, with an emphasis on commercial and residential real estate, business and mortgage loan closings. Mr. Morgan is an experienced title examiner and supervises the preparation of most of the title policies issued by the Firm.
