Attorney and Lawyer Gary Kollin is a sole practitioner concentrating in criminal defense and civil rights litigation. He has represented clients in the state and federal courts charged with crimes that range from petit theft to first degree murder and include federal charges of drug trafficking and continuing criminal enterprises. Gary Kollin represents clients in the state and federal appeal courts and argued the case of Smith v. United States, 508 U.S. 223 (1993), before the Supreme Court of the United States. Gary Kollin was counsel in a 220 person class action suit, Jones v. Sheriff, 9 Fla. L. Weekly Fed. D109 (S.D. Fla. 1995), against the local Sheriff where the federal judge entered summary judgment proscribing the practice of post-acquittal detention and ordered damages in an amount in excess of one million dollars.

Gary Kollin is Board Certified by the Florida Bar as an Expert in both Criminal Trial Law and in Criminal Appellate Law and a Nationally Certified Expert in Criminal Trial Advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. There are only eight lawyers in Florida who possess these three certifications and he is the sole triple certified lawyer in south Florida. He is Martindale-Hubbell AV rated and selected as a Leading Florida Attorney in the area of Felonies and Misdemeanor Defense Law by the American Research Corporation.
